Cytology Scrapers

PLASTIC - Our sterile 7" Ayres-type cervical scraper is made of high impact polystyrene (PS). This dual contour elongated model has one tapered end which permits reaching the endocervical area. Its other end has a broad shape for sampling the exocervix.

WOOD - Two types of non-sterile wooden cytology scrapers are available for collection of cervical specimens: a standard Ayres-type and one with a special dual design for broader specimen collection.
