PCR* Tubes

Thin wall Polymerase Chain Reaction tubes help accelerate uniform well-to well heat transfer, thus leading to shorter cycle times. They also assist in magnifying critical DNA fragments. Designed for an optimal fit in all commonly used thermal cyclers, these tubes meet or exceed key specimen processing standards.

Our PCR tubes are precision molded from chemically inert, prime virgin polypropylene to achieve the most accurate results. Thev are offered in both 0.2mL and 0.6mL sizes. The 0.2mL tubes come in strips of 8 with the matching 8 cap strips being sold separately. This 8-strip format facilitates loading into 8 x 12 thermal cyclers. For those procedures requiring only a few tubes at a time, the 0.2mL and 0.6mL sizes are offered individually with attached caps.

Non-sterile and autoclavable, these PCR tubes are produced and packaged to prevent exposure to micro-organisms and human contact. They are supplied in a variety of colors for sample coding or for contemporary lab aesthetics.
